Council to Vote on New Trash and Recycling Contract

Three trash bins on a street. They are brown, green and blue.

The Fall River City Council meets tomorrow and will be asked to approve a new contract for the pick-up and disposal of residential trash and recycling.

Mayor Paul Coogan is asking the council to approve a two-year deal with Capital Waste Services, the parent company of EZ-Disposal, the city’s current trash vendor. The mayor says there are fewer options in the region for disposing of trash, resulting in increased costs.
