The Fall River Public Library this week put on display pieces of art from a local artist depicting two city residents of note.
Artist Sheila Oliveira donated a painting featuring Joe Raposo, the musical genius behind the children’s program Sesame Street and, in honor of Black History Month, a portrait of Sarah Anna Lewis, Fall River’s first Black school teacher.
