For the second straight year, downtown Fall River will be transformed into a large outdoor local marketplace where shoppers can get a jump on holiday shopping. It takes place Saturday and is called Thanksmas!
Ms. Rego says there will a wide variety of local vendors on hand with the benefit of keeping holiday shopping dollars local.
Thanksmas will also house a bin to collect warm winter items for those in need in collaboration with the United Way.
Thanksmas runs Saturday from 4 pm to 8 pm on Old Second Street across from Government Center.
