Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia held a morning news conference at Government Center today along with members of the Massachusetts Community Veteran’s Engagement Board (CVEB). The purpose: To announce the first public forum to be held by the CVEB at Morton Middle School this Saturday, October 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The national and regional outreach representatives will be on hand to provide information to veterans about how they can gain access to sustainable, long-term housing. According to CVEB Co-Chair Helon A. Wylie III, however, the event at Morton is not only about housing issues:
The CVEB works to resolve issues at the lowest possible level, while working in concert with regional and national leadership to develop solutions and identify opportunities to improve veteran experience.
