December 7, 2018, is the 76th anniversary of Japan’s surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, and Battleship Cove will mark the day – known as Pearl Harbor Day or Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day – with a ceremony on the battleship USS Massachusetts.
The event will start at 12:55 p.m. — the time in EST that the air strike was launched — in the Memorial Room aboard the battleship, located at 5 Water Street in Fall River. It will conclude at 2:00 p.m.
The ceremony is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. Seating is limited.
