Gateway cities across the commonwealth are getting more attention thanks to an initiative by GBH News in Boston. Three journalists from the media outlet were in Fall River two weeks ago for a listening session with city residents about issues concerning them.
GBH News has conducted similar listening sessions in 11 of the 26 gateway cities and hopes to get to all of them by the end of the year. The goal is to listen to residents and develop news projects that reflect the fabric of gateway communities.
