The city council this week approved the city’s water and sewer budgets for FY 2027. The spending plan is not seeking any increases in water or sewer rates.
The residential water rate will remain at $4.24 per one hundred cubic feet (ccf). The sewer usage rate will stay at $8.11 per ccf.
With the budget passed, the city can work on a variety of water and sewer projects. Paul Ferland, administrator of community utilities, says an ongoing project is replacing lead water pipes across the city.
Mr. Ferland says the city will also be conducting underground water and sewer work and street paving.
