Mayor Jasiel Correia II has organized a city-wide clean up for Saturday, May 14th. Volunteers are wanted. Interested residents who would like to lend a hand, should meet at 8:30 a.m. at Government Center.
The clean up efforts are held each year and sponsored by the administration, civic organizations, Fall River Park Advocates, and Greater Fall River Re-Creation, among others.
A clean up of the Quequechan River was also recently conducted to help get the city ready for the upcoming summer months. The non-profit agency Mass in Motion, founded to help residents live healthy, active lives, sponsored that event.
