The Fall River Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is showcasing its list of projects that they say have been of great benefit to the city.
City voters passed a referendum in 2012 to approve the Community Preservation Act (CPA), which allows the city to impose a tax surcharge on city property owners to fund community improvement projects.
Over the last 11 years, the CPC has distributed $24 million in preservation funds to about 100 projects within four focus areas.
The CPC looks to the community to play a role in proposing projects and providing feedback on those projects.
The committee is hosting its annual meeting this Monday at 6 pm in Government Center to celebrate the work of those who benefited from CPA funding.
Those interested in applying for CPA funding next year must file an initial application with the CPC by September 9.
